“Setting off on a global adventure to find waves to surf and people to meet, all while respecting nature and its inhabitants.”

It is this desire that has driven Ewen, Ronan, and Aurel for over fifteen years to embark on expeditions that are often unlikely, sometimes uncomfortable, but always deeply human.

First big adventure: Dés’Îles’Usions — how to surf and live on fresh water on a remote island in the Indian Ocean.

Then came the major maritime expeditions. Aboard Gwalaz—a trimaran built from biomaterials—they circumnavigated Brittany before heading to the Solomon Islands for three months of exploration in the heart of the Pacific.

Travel continues, and modes of transport are diversifying.

The Lost Paradise: on the Gabonese coast, they set out in search of untouched waves on bamboo fatbikes.

In Morocco, they travel along the coast accompanied by donkeys: la marocânerie!

In Patagonia, they embark on Maewan, the expedition sailboat which awakens ecological awareness, discovers a world class right and names this epic adventure: Patalluvia.

Then, in the tropics, aboard Nomades des Mers—Corentin de Chatelperron’s floating laboratory exploring low-tech solutions developed across the globe—we discover the “Eldorâteau“!

Over the years, these adventures also become a pretext for questioning ways of traveling.

The trio rediscovers its own Breton, French, and European territory aboard a vintage fire truck running on recycled frying oil—Niglo Frites & Niglo Chips—and then continues its explorations by prioritizing increasingly low-impact and creative modes of travel, such as Lost In The Train using a Notox kit board.
