It is this passion that has driven Ewen, Ronan and Aurel for more than fifteen years to embark on expeditions that are often unlikely, sometimes uncomfortable, but always deeply human.

First big adventure: Dés’Îles’Usions — how to surf and live off the land on a remote island in the Indian Ocean.

Next came the major maritime expeditions. Aboard the Gwalaz, a trimaran built from biomaterials, they sailed round Brittany before heading to the Solomon Islands for three months of exploration in the heart of the Pacific.

People continue to travel, and the means of transport are becoming more varied.

Paradise Lost: on the Gabonese coast, they set off in search of unspoilt waves on bamboo fatbikes.

In Morocco, they travel along the coast accompanied by donkeys: this is known as ‘morocanerie’!

In Patagonia, they set sail on the Maewan, the expedition yacht that raises environmental awareness, discover a world-class right-hander and name this epic adventure: Patalluvia.

Then, in the tropics, with *Nomades des Mers*, Corentin de Chatelperron’s laboratory ship, which explores low-tech solutions developed in the four corners of the globe: the *eldorâteau*!

Over the years, these adventures have also become a pretext for exploring different ways of travelling.

The trio rediscovers their own Breton, French and European territory aboard an old fire engine powered by recycled cooking oil: Niglo Frites & Niglo Chips, before continuing their explorations by favouring ever more economical and creative modes of transport, such as: Lost In The Train with a Notox skateboard kit.
